ive got the autohide set to true

ive tried this with both the full and M player

here is the actual page source

            <object data="data:application/x-silverlight-2," type="application/x-silverlight-2" width="320" height="240">
<param name="source" value="../ClientBin/VideoPlayer.xap"/>
<param name="background" value="black" />
<param Name="initParams" value='m=, thumbnail=, autohide=true, autostart=true' />
<param name="minRuntimeVersion" value="2.0.31005.0" />
<param name="autoUpgrade" value="true" />
<a href="" style="text-decoration: none;">
<img src="" alt="Get Microsoft Silverlight" style="border-style: none"/>

Make sure you move your mouse away -- it's on a timer and if there is activity on the surface it shows up.

not only did i move the mouse away

i put the mouse on my other monitor and just sat and watched the whole vid (2 mins)

and waited for the controls to disappear

never happened

im sure this is only me becuase otherwise it would be an issue with other peeps

so i was wondering if misprogrammed the page source came out wrong?

(the whole is set inside a .net control)

Weird.  autohide is true by default so you can try to omit it.

if you would like to see my test page just to make sure im not crazy

id be happy for you to do so:

must be something weird wrapped in a control.  when it plays, if i click into the movie and then move away it something about focus i'm guessing...weird.

ooh -

i actually got it to happen with your procedure

it is definitely an odd combination of clicks to make it right

but its a step in the right direction
