Can't seek to end of video

description

I have a video that's more than 5 min long and when I move the slider to the end, it always jumps back to a few seconds before it.

Can you provide a sample URI to the media? If progressive downloading Silverlight only plays what it has available and if the server doesn't support byte-range requests it won't do that.

I am experiencing the same problem. Here's a sample video that exhibits the problem: http://videos.redliner.com/redliner_promo.wmv
Basically, once the player gets to the end of the video, it jumps back a few second and loops. I suspect it's feedback look with the video position and the slider position (perhaps the width of the "thumb" wasn't taken into account?).

I'm also having this issue with MediaElement. I can set Position anywhere in the clip (video is an hour long) except to the last ~30 seconds, and cannot set it to the end. IE:

ME1.Position = ME1.NaturalDuration.TimeSpan;

Will set the video 36 seconds from the end. I can back up "second by second" and move forward "second by second" any any other point, but if I try to set a value past 36 seconds from the end it backs up to that point. The video will play fine to the end, and if I let it play to the end and then try to change position the problem still exists. Using Progressive download of a wmv.
